What are we disconnecting from when we say we're 'going off the grid'?
Grids represent a network of communication, nomenclature, and, most importantly, inertia. When we go 'off the grid,' we usually signal that we need a break from expectations. But that does not necessarily set an intention to negotiate with such expectations in the future.
